Modifications continue at ER-Saha Oy’s sawmill in FinlandPublished on: Monday 26. April 2010
According to the delivery contract signed on 13 April 2010 Heinola Sawmill Machinery Inc. is providing significant modifications to the sawline at ER-Saha Oy's sawmill in Viitasaari, Finland. The sawline pattern support system will be modernized next summer. At the beginning of 2011 the sawline will be equipped with a new log scanning conveyor, log rotator and a new centering conveyor for primary breakdown.
These alterations will enable ER-Saha Oy to measure, rotate and infeed the logs to the sawline more accurately. The new sawline pattern support system together with the log scanner makes control of setworks easier.
Last winter Heinola Sawmill Machinery Inc. provided modifications to the ER-Saha's stick-stacking plant as well as updated the automation systems of the dry sorting and packaging plants.
ER-Saha Oy is a privately owned Finnish company in Viitasaari, Finland. The sawmill's annual production capacity is about 160 000 m3 of sawn timber.
