THE HEINOLA chipper product family includes chippers for sawmills, the veneer and plywood industry, the pulp and paper industry as well as for bioenergy production. The HEINOLA chippers are well known for their low operating costs, long life, effciency and excellent chip quality.

The characteristics of chippers, such as the diameter of the knife drum, the size of the feed opening, the type of feed mechanism, motor power, as well as the number and speed of the knives, significantly affect the quality of the chips. Consistency is especially crucial for the pulp industry.

High yield

The chips produced by HEINOLA chippers meet the pulp and energy industry’s strict quality requirements. They have a high yield because the quantity of fine fraction is small. The chip quality is produced by the chipper, not by the screen.

  • For the plywood industry’s waste veneers and cores, specialized chippers have been developed to produce high-quality pulp chips. HEINOLA chippers also efficiently chip edge trimmings.
  • Large chute-fed drum chippers are suitable for chipping trim waste in the pulp and paper industry.
